Natalia Lastowiecka began singing jazz through fortunate happenstance in August of 2022. Though a lifelong singer of art songs and operatic repertoire, Natalia had moved away from music to pursue a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at the Ohio State University. Being new to the area and longing for a musical outlet, Natalia auditioned for a jazz ensemble on a whim -- a decision that has given her a wonderful new passion and dear friends for which she is incredibly grateful. 

Natalia is originally from the Chicago area and holds two undergraduate degrees in Voice Performance and Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. A vocal injury helped her uncover a love for voice health and science, and she has since published research in the field and is currently specializing in singing health, hoping to work in voice rehabilitation following graduation.
