Sandy Mathias is Professor Emerita of Capital University, where she was Professor of Vocal Music Education for 29 years.  She is also Artistic Director Emerita of the Columbus Children’s Choir, where she conducted for 25 years.  She was vocalist for the Churchville-Chili Central High School Jazz Band and the All-City High Dance Band when she was in high school.  She also sang with small combos when she was a student at SUNY Fredonia.  While it’s been a while since doing this, she is excited to sing with the FJO!
