Rachel Sepulveda
Rachel Sepulveda is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and arranger inspired by jazz, R&B and Latin styles.
Rachel has been performing and teaching in the Columbus music scene for over 20 years and is a frequent guest singer performing with Vaughn Wiester’s Famous Jazz Orchestra. She has also been a featured artist at many Columbus festivals such as the Columbus Jazz and Ribs Festival and The Gahanna Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival. Rachel has performed on many other local stages and venues including the McConnell Arts Center, The Refectory Dinner Music series, Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge, and Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza. She has performed abroad singing for international audiences at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the Umbria Jazz Festival in Italy, and also MusicFest Canada.
Rachel completed her Masters of Music in jazz performance at Western Michigan University in 2017, where she sang with the award-winning jazz ensemble, Gold Company. While there, the group won the 2017 Downbeat student award for best large vocal jazz ensemble performance.
